The Light Fund

Light,
given back.

Andre makes luminous work — and gives a part of it back. The Light Fund is a standing commitment to the families who wait beside hospital beds, and to the Jersey City community that raised this studio.

A luminous horizon work by Andre Kowlessar

Why this exists

This began close to home. A long hospital stay in Andre's own family turned a private vigil into a lasting intention — that the work should do more than hang on a wall. That light, caught in pigment and metal, could become light for someone else.

So The Light Fund gives in two directions: to the families navigating long, uncertain hospitalizations, and to arts access for young people in Jersey City. One honors what Andre's family has lived. The other honors where he comes from.

"You show up, you commit, you see what the day gives back." Andre Kowlessar

How the giving works

Sold openly. Given plainly.

Works are sold and the proceeds given as cash to vetted nonprofit partners — the clearest way to keep the giving real, and trackable.

02

Benefit works

Designated pieces and limited editions give one hundred percent of their net proceeds to the cause.

03

Where it goes
